Personalized Laser Pointers: Cool Gear

I would love to be able to engrave some of my portable equipment with my  name and contact info. I tend to lose track of cell phone, USB flash drives, laptop mice etc. One of my most lost items is the laser pointer it take around everywhere for presentations. I must have gone through at least 10 of them in the last 3 years...

BetaLaser (their official name is Beta Electronics), like many other marketing handouts suppliers, engraves laser pointers, USB drives etc. with your company logos and sells them to you in large quantities. However, BetaLaser also sells you un-engraved units, and gives you access to products that are typically available only in large quantities. It can also do 1-off engraving for $9 per item - now that''s interesting personalization, and one that I will definitely try soon.

BetaLaser carries multiple laser pointers using 1xAAA and 2xAAA batteries, such as this green one and this red one. These pointers appear to be higher end pointers. The site carries a combination USB flash drive (1GB) and 645nm red laser pointer functioning with 1xAAA battery, in a pen-size format. It also has an interesting waterproof underwater divers' laser pointer powered by 2xAA batteries. Incidentally, you can also find there metal swivel USB flash drives (SW4GB) that can be difficult to find in the US - although they are everywhere in China...

All in all, some interesting products that can be personalized for little money - although these items are not cheap. BetaLaser is located in Ohio.  It's too bad we don't have information about the quality/ reliability/ longevity of the products they carry. If you have used BetaLaser's products, let us know what you think of them! We will update the post and reflect the info we receive.
